Is it possible to go to a specific page in downloading aircraft files?  There are 106 pages altogether and if Iwanted to look at say, page 28, how would I do that without having to continually clicking back 88 times to get there?

Or...

Once your viewing a download page (earliest or newest) click on the 'Address' bar (at the top of your browser window).

First  click highlights the address, second click sets your cursor for edit. The page number is the number(s) just before the '.htm'. Edit the number and hit enter key or go button.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.          Igor Sikorsky

Thanks for the "Site Map" tip. I have been wondering how to reach specific page(s) for 3 months now. Now I know how. I think Simviation often overestimates the computer literacy of many of its users - especially we seniors. Would anyone care to define AFCAD, mesh, 2D, 3D and virtual cockpit for me? -  or is there a basic glossary here somewhere?

AFCAD files define where objects and buildings go at airports.... they also define ramp / gate spaces and which airlines park at said gates / ramps. AFCAD files also define the AI traffic.

Mesh is the structure which underlies the scenery ...... it defines the lumps and bumps .... think of it as the chicken wire frame under a papier mache skin.

2d cockpit ...... usually the default loadup when a flight loads in order to see any specialist parts of the cockpit such as the thottles requires extra key stokes ... eg Shift+3 brings up the throttle quadrant.

3D and Virtual cockpit (VC) are one and the same ...... you can move the eyepoint in  the VC as you would in real life. In more sopisticated models you can move around the VC and cabin as you would in real life. eg taking a window seat in first class.

hope that helps
