Ive have seen many aircraft for FS2004 which Feature Ejection seats, But when you eject you stay with the aircraft wouldent It be good if you went with the seat, and its views?

Is this possible? If so please could anyone try I belive it would be a first for FS2004.

the only thing i know that resembles (and i know just b/c ive heard of this, not exacly seen it) is Eduardo Fadul's MiG-29A package. i think that when you eject you no longer have control of the aircraft and crash after ejection (for obvious reasons)

he accomplished this through xml gauges and part preprocesses in FSDS...but you'd have to ask him if you want more details. he's a regular here...

What if you made it so that the aircraft falls away from the seat instead of the seat flying away from the aircraft?

There is also a Mirage 2000 that does that and a Soko Galeb G-2a,

But like jake said it would be good if you went with the Seat and Pilot and had there views.

I think if you did that, then the eyeview would be centered around the cockpit in the spot view, making for a weird view. It would only look "normal" after you eject.

i helped eduardo fogure out how to pull this off, i dont remember well tho (ask him i tell ye! Tongue ) as far as i understand you are not able to switch eyepoints just like that (from the cockpit to the seat) the wayive seen its done is by having the plane go out of control after the ejection and then crashing. i sujest you download the Galeb, the one Canberra that does this trick, as well as the MiG-29A as they all share this in common. examine the xml's and then think of the next step.

Is not necessary that you be an expert, for example when you eject from my mig-29 and xml take the control and force the aileron and elevator, with that you can try to retake the control but is just impossible.

In the tucano you are ejected and the plane disappear and you fall in the parachute, that happen with other xml.

Those xml are "generic" and they can be use with almost any plane.

You can take that xml and make the same sequence for your plane, it works with the open cockpit sequence.

The tucano is available here

I bet you could make it work with any keypress, with just a little knowledge of XML coding.

Stupid question here...Eduardo's MIG...how can I regain control after ejection? Is it necessary to re-select the aircraft or something...mind you...I love the how the Afterburn actually pushes you forward unlike other's where it's just and effect... Shocked Shocked

Is impossible, when i ask to Rob for those xml i entrust he that you never will be able to retake the control, just like in a really ejection.
