Hello all! On May 6th 2006 starting at 9pm eastern daylight time we shall strive to complete the 6th hop of our trip down to mexico for the South America tour

-----------------------------------------------------------------------Route between MMSP (SAN LUIS POTOSI, SAN LUIS POTOSÍ, MÉXICO) and MMMX (MÉXICO CITY, DISTRITO FEDERAL, MÉXICO):
Distance along great circle: 228.6 statute miles, 198.6 nautical miles, 367.8 kilometers
Initial true great circle heading: 148.0 degrees (south-southeast)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

If you plan on flying something besides a default plane, please feel free to post which one so that others may be able to pick it up before the flight, and if you decide on using payware please be kind enough to first load in a default plane that is similar in size and then load up your chosen plane.

I think for this flight I'm going to try and get the Carenado 206 to start with and see how that goes, there is an excellent freeware version of the 206 available at most flight sim sites and most def. available here at simV

Teamspeak for the flight is hosted by our gracious member Sam and more information about conencting there can be found at the following address:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Multi;action=display;num=1...

As I host the flight server on my pc and the ip address for my network is done dynamically through my ISP I will announce the ip address by about 7pm tonight.

For general questions please refer to the general question thread which will be rewrote within the coming week to reflect more current situations:
http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=Multi;action=display;num=1...

As always I would love to encourage all who have flown with us in the past, and anyone else to join us at any point during the flight or the tour itself.

Happy flying!

Jared

Haven't found one for MMSP yet...... still looking.

Thanks for another fun flight nemo/john I enjoyed it as always Smiley

Glad to see that we all made it back down in time to avoid getting knocked out of the sky with that thunderstorm Smiley

Yeah...that was one of the best flights in a long while:

Great scenery, beautiful weather, and then the heavy thunderstorm and turbulence at the end in Mexico City for landing.

Exciting one, for sure.

Thanks for hosting Jared.  Get some sleep over there in the UK, Nemo.

See ya' next week (hopefully).

best,

...................john

It was pretty good except for the usual action movie things that would never work in real life
