Underneath the DC3 you see a RC look alike complete with burning lights...

Ahhhh... Smiley

Always useful Wink

Just as well - what would be the point of an RC plane with running engines that didn't fly! Grin

PS. Had a feeling this thread was going to be DC-3 related! Wink Grin

Then this wouldn't be a good time to tell you that I sat in the cockpit of a dak in soesterberg once? That in the old days in the summer I would almost see them fly on a regular base?

The static orange one is rumoured to get engines somewhere in the future.

HA-LIX is a Lisunov, but not as obvious as RA1300K (which isnt with us anymore). Most people will say that it's just another DC-3

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

Makes ya wonder,
How when Aviation was rather new, prop transports were rather large. Now, they're just unbelieveably large. And how manufacturers can recreate the older transports in smaller sizes for cheaper.
Cheers,
Doc the thread-killer.

Ya MS screwed up the nose.  Their 'landing light' on the nose is actually an air scoop to bring fresh air into the cabin
