True Paul... most horror-movies are so funny... It's the creepy ones that give you the shivers...
About things that could actually happen ... and using subtle techniques, nothing to visual, just creating a mood... far more freightning than a slimy beast from outer space... oh, hi Ozzy... how long were you standing there... Agreed. Horror movies don't do anything. If we're going for the gross-factor, I'd say 'Hostel'. There's something about cutting off a dangling eyeball with a pair of scissors that just strikes me as odd.
