I just downloaded and am testing the newest version of FS Navigator (4.7 I think). I have it installed in the fs2004 sim ands all seems fine.
One reason I am testing it is to see how the new version handles the export function of the older Squawkbox format (xxxxxxx.sbp) flight plan files. I need to see if I can set FSNav up to export across the network directly into a directory on another machine.
The instructions in a number of places SAY that there should be an export pop-up box that I can use to set this function in some manner (but it is not all that clear about it) ....... but I can't find it for the life of me.
Can someone point me in the right direction?
Or is this a function that is "disabled" on the demo version....and I have to pay for it to find out if I
WANT
to pay for it?
best,

To get the Export function ...... click on Plan in the middle panel and Export should be there in a drop down ..... then choose the format.
See below
I don't know about saving to another machine though.... that's something to maybe ask at the FSNav forums.

No the export function works "Free or Paid"....
The export modules put the plans into their respective folders.....PMDG/flightplans and LevelD/navdata/flightplans...Etc..So where ever Sqaukbox goes....
From page 15 of the manual...
"Flight plan export
The export of Flight plans is done by DLL’s in the folder …\Flt.Sim\Modules\FSNavigator\FlpExport.
The Export settings for all .DLL’s are stored in the file FlpExport.ini."
Dont' know if this helps....
