if you're looking for some short hops then you could go to the Greece area of the med. there are some airfeilds around there and the scenery is really nice. Ive been there sailing and it is really nice, ive also been there in FS and its quite well done just from standard, so that is my suggestion.

james

Yeah i was thinking about a tour around Greece aswell.

Thanks for the suggestion.

the only problem is that the computer down here is the worst rig ever, and the only one with internet, and the one upstairs in my room is that one with fs so i wont be able to do and multiplayer stuff, and also my FS is currently broken and one of the disks has cracked so i cant re-install it, so at the moment i can't really do anything, otherwise id go with you on that one.

cheers

If people already have the meshes, flying down through the Alps, from Switzerland, through Austria and Italy and finishing in the south of France, only a short hop from there to the Beaches  Grin

That sounds good, although we've already done a tour of Italy, and its no problem for broadband users to get the terrain mesh downloaded, although fozzer might not like the idea with his dial up  Wink 8)

I dont think he minds, as long as i give him enough notice so he can download the mesh.

Cheers

I always download the scenery meshes and install them for all the areas I fly in, either the Tour areas or my favourite areas...no problemo with my dial-up... Grin...!

Have you ever thought that one day your Daddy may decide to cut your access to Broadband off, because he pays for it, and decides it's too expensive, on top of the usual telephone bill...?

P.S. Remember that high altitude, low air density, mountainous areas generate performance problems for air cooled piston-engined aircraft....(The Alps)...Wink...!

Surprisingly enough that would be a good idea, but imagine how much planning it would take.

Not too expensive, his work pays for it so it doesn't cost him a thing  Grin

There you go then.... Wink...!

I just know that when the young school-boys in SimV brag about "their" hi speed DSL/Broadband they obviously are not paying for it out of their measly weekly pocket-money while they are at school.... Wink...!
It's Mum and Dad who are treating them to the expensive service, free of charge...providing that they behave themselves, do their homework, wash the car, mow the lawn, go to the shops, etc...etc...... Wink...!

Me...?

....If I wanted very expensive "Broadband" I would have to pay for it out of my weekly Pension... Cry...!

At the moment, 24/7 "Dial-up" £10/Month is recommended by my Service Provider for my type of use of the Internet...
...Choices...choices... Wink...!
...and Dial-up has no detrimental effect whatsoever, speed-wise, on my Multiplayer flights... Grin...!

Paul...Happy £10/Mumf Bunny... Grin...!

..so how often do you wash Dad's car, mow the lawn, hoover the carpets, clean your bedroom, go to the shops for Mum, etc, for them to allow you to spend all their hard-earned money on your high-speed Internet access time... Wink...!
LOL... Grin...!

If you belonged to me I would make you do all those things, as well as polish my boots, climb up my chimney and sweep it, do a complete service on my motor-bike every week-end, and get a good-ol' thrashing at the end of it...
...just like in the "good-old-days"...!
...luv it...!

Paul... Wink... Grin...!
