Music in the air ruined Middle wallops airshow. They lost something like 20% of their visitor numbers. Then to make things worse it was moved to the evening just to kill it almost completely.

Indeed. This is nothing new & these popular events have been held on a regular basis for many years.

In the usual fashion Old Warden did one, to add something a little different, the Duxford followed suit a year or three later. I think they may have even poached the original OW Flying Prom orchestra too...

Now there seem to be a gazillion of the things... Roll Eyes
