Hello Lads and Lasses... Grin...!

As a regular Sim Flyer from England touring around various areas for the World every day, I think it would be very nice to be able converse, via Sim V, with other Simmers from other countries, eager to exchange details of our particular locations; descriptions, photographs, etc...Grin...!

I have always been fascinated with the State of California, and the San Francisco Bay area in particular from many years of flying the area, so I would love to obtain details of these areas from other Sim V Members who would be willing to exchange details.

I regularly get the local San Francisco news posted to me via Kron 4 news, etc, but it would be nice to obtain real up-to-date news from a Member actually living in the area, via the Sim V Personal Message section... Grin...!

"What is the weather like at the moment?"
"Are you coping with the recent floods?"
"Any news of recent local earthquakes?"
"What is the latest news of Moffat Field?"
"Have you got a photo of Half Moon Bay airfield?"
"What about a photo of Golden Gate Bridge?"
"Have you ever visited Livermore, or Buchanan Field?"
...etc...etc...!

An excellent opportunity via the Flight Simulator to gain details of other people living in different parts on the World...Grin...!

What do you reckon...any suggestions..?

Paul...Always interested in other parts of the World... Grin...!
(History, geography and geology...my favourite subjects..)... Wink...!

....Funny old do...

I typed "Saitek" into the Google box to get some interesting local news from Ben....

...and all I got was a Web Site advertising Joysticks...

So that suggestion didn't work very well... Wink...!

Many years ago I used to correspond with "B58D" (from here) via PM's to obtain local San Francisco news and photographs...
Which was excellent.
...but he rarely shows up now, so I have lost my correspondent for that region.

After a time, it's very easy to notice certain pleasant Flight Sim folks who would possibly be pleased to exchange details of their country/locations... 8)...!
...for example...
I often would like to receive aerial photographs/newspaper cuttings, etc, of cities, airfields, parks, lakes, etc, to enable me to design accurate add-on scenery... Wink...!

...and what about a local weather forecast prior to an agreed Multiplayer Flight...Wink...?

...and the time of the last Busses...?

LOL...!

Paul...It's raining here...and the last Bus has just left...Sorry.. Wink...!

I know where they live Ben, but not everyone is interested in  "Private Message" communication via Sim V unless they point out the fact that they are interested, in a "Pen Pal" type of Forum..Wink...!

Cheers all...!

Paul...It's stopped raining now, the sun has come out...and the next bus is due in 2 minutes... 8)...!
