Hello Everyone.  Haven't been on here in ages.

I'm having a problem with my contrails.  The ones Microsoft made are somewhat 3D right??  Well when I get up to altitude (FL300) they are flat rather than before.

Has anyone had the problem in the past and know how to correct it?

Thank you

MIKE

I haven't played 2k2 in about three years, but if I remember correctly, the contrails were flat.  Maybe someone still playing could clarify.

They are flat.

You should've mentioned that in one of your previous two posts.

Even FlightSimulator 2004 does that  Undecided

My solution is to download and install this:

http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=fscontrail2004_v1.0.zip&CatID=roo...

Hope this helps.

Yup, the contrails in FS8 are flat, but also somewhat 3D, because the textures are twisted trough eachother.

Have you guys tried a re-install? If that didn't work, try searching for the original effect(s).
