The pmdg is WELL worth it. I dont have the 747 but the 737 is great! Flight one's Cessna 182RG by caranado is one of my fav GA planes and also the level D 767 is one of the best IMPA, Thats all I have so I cant comment on anything else except fspassengers you must have.

If you want to go "realism", then you will go PMDG or Level-D Simulations.

I quote from an article by a professional about the PMDG 747, posted in the magazine Airliner World February 2006 edition: "It would be a gross understatement to say that I was impressed with this masterpiece from PMDG, which could be described as a training-quality simulation that just happens to use FS2004 for the external landscape."

The 737 series by PMDG is also very impressive. Of course, then there is also the fantastic 767-300ER by Level-D Simulations.

Other than that; also worth a look:
- Realair Spitfire
- Realair SIAI-Marchetti SF206
- Captainsim Legendary C-130
- With a bit of patience, the Block F of the Captainsim Boeing 757-200, although you can already get all the visual models.

If you're a military flyer, then I woul be looking at alphasim's stuff primarily.  Smiley

Everything by RealAir is excellent...I should know...I have all their products...Great models, great realism...and amazing flying capabilities make their add-ons a real treat...

In addition, everything by PMDG is also very, very good....again I know because I own all of their prodcuts too...

As far as realism is concerned, RealAir and PMDG make the best products around...and like Kobe said, Alphasim's military models are quite good...with various eye-candy...

Also, I would suggest, like Kobe, a few of the Captain Sim products...especially the C-130...That is a true work of art and Captain Sim is now quickly becoming more popular with avid simmers....

If you need more request...feel free to contact me either thru this post or thru PM...

Cheers,
Ashar Wink

In that order... The AH package does have the advantage of quite a few Mks...

This is what I have and in this order (and all less than a week, god I suck Grin)

Captain Sim 757
Captain Sim C-130 base package
Captain Sim 707 Adv
Captain Sim Yak-3
Captain Sim Mig

And...........OF COARSE FELLAS!!!!.............

THE REAL AIR SPITFIRE
(which reminds me I owe you guys some screenshots of her in payware Grin. I'll get on that first thing tonight Wink)

I love all of them! Their like Tattoos. I got one when I was 18. Now I'm 32 with 7 of them. The last one being a complete shoulder blade to shoulder blade tribal flying dragon. I love to fly and and now it definatly shows Grin. It's very addicting but it ultimately come down to a matter of taste in the AC you like. (although I did cave to the Sim V peer pressure with the Spitfire Grin j/k guys. still one of my best purchases Wink)
