The only time ive seen a fish used as a dangerous weapon is a frozend cod on the mini advert where they bash someone over the head with it

If you'd seen a can of that stuff, or smelt it you'd understand.
Apparently the dish started when a British Trawler fobbed a bunch of scandanavians off with barrels of rotting herring, only to find when they went back the following year that they wanted to buy another lot.
