Ok so now that I got repaints done and have 2 planes on my own custom airlines I was wonering how do you do a ATC name?

I know its in the .cfg file but for some reason when I enter it it just skips it..

[fltsim.0]
title=Vistaliners Boeing 727-200Adv Sterling
sim=B727200A_VL
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=sterling
atc_id=N8856E
atc_heavy=0
atc_flight_number=722
atc_airline=James
ui_manufacturer=Boeing
ui_type=727-200Adv
ui_variation=Sterling
description=One of the most successful commercial jet airliners ever designed. Production totaled 1,831 aircraft between 1963 and 1984. \n\n Dedicated to my dearest friend Rachel, for always being there, for keeping me sane (dare I say alive), without whom this release could very well have never happened. \n\n Thank You.
visual_damage=1
atc_id_color=0x00000000
atc_id_font=Verdana,-11,1,600,0

Is that it? (note this I did not make this model, just repainted it)

I tried a bunch of other things from just "J" to "JC" (The actuall name of the airline) to now James but none work

I've got nothing.

Simply adding an entry to 'atc_airline=' will not make atc speak the name. The Sim has a 'fixed' list of airline names that it recognizes and can speak.

Here is a recent Topic that should explain it further.

As the name you want to add is not in the list of 'atc recognized airlines' you will have to get Editvoicepack. With Evp you'll have 3 possibilities.

1. With Evp, run the 'install update'. This will update  the 'atc recognized airlines'  to 4300+. Maybe you'll find something close enough to use.

2. Create your own 'airline' using Evp.

3. Maybe someone with Evp 'editing' experience will volunteer to create it for you. (I have no experience using the editor)
