Does anyone know know how the whole Runway 12 object placer scenery enhancement thing works.  I've seen the name around a lot...I just don't know what to do.  Everything says I need a rwy 12 base pack first.  Where do I find that, and how do I proceed afterwards?  Any help is appreciated!

Rwy12 downloads are here.

There are 4 files: the Program  and 3 Library Collections.

If you want to install the program to create scenery, download all 4 files and install using the included instructions**.

If you just need the libraries, so you can use sceneries created by others using Rwy12, download the 3 Library Collections and install using the instructions**.

** The instructions for installing library 2 and 3 are in error. After you install library 1 you should have the following folder(s) containing the files:

....<FS2004>\Addon Scenery\Static Objects Library\scenery\<all bgl files here>

....<FS2004>\Addon Scenery\Static Objects Library\texture\<all bmp files here>

The .bgl and .bmp files for library 2 and 3 should be placed the same as above, NOT as the instructions say 'in ...\Addon Scenery\scenery (and texture)'.

Be sure you activate the 'Static Objects Library' in FS2004 Scenery Library as you would any other scenery.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.          Igor Sikorsky
