...bleedin' 'eck... Shocked...!

We are a bit short of Nav Aids on this hop... Cry...!

Looks like we are going to be navigating by the stars and a compass... Wink...!
Lots of water..!
Maybe a float plane would be an idea for the whole trip, but I'm not sure it would be much help in a forced ditch in an Atlantic storm...?

I wonder what the survival rate of a GA float plane would be landing in a stormy sea..?

...anyway...
I've got my inflatable dingy, emergency beacon, spare pair of underpants, a small flask of life-enhancing fluid, and my survival kit stowed away...just in case... Wink...!

Cheers all...!

Catchya at 8:15...Wink...!

I wonder what that "life-enhancing" fluid could be...perhaps the rum that mysteriously dissappeared from the carribean 5 weeks ago?

Fozzer,

The only thing that keeps your computer from being totally infested by viruses is that ancient 56K dial-up modem of yours.  Wink

Once you go to braodband/high speed....... if you don't attend to firewalls, closed ports, and such..... your computer's life expectancy drops into the minutes range.   Grin

best,

Hi John...!
.. ignoring the horrendous cost of Broadband in the UK, and sticking to Windows XP with no Service Pack 2, its Firewalls, and the dreaded Routers...
..and enjoying the delights of low-cost Dial-Up means that I don't suffer all the headache problems of the systems above...
...and my careful use of my Firefox browser, together with my mate Norton, AVG, Adaware, Spybot, etc, means that I only get the usual Viagra, Medical Supplies, etc offers in my In-Box... Wink...!
Nuffin' too serious...!
And my Multiplayer flights are trouble-free... 8)...!
Luv it... Grin...!

Paul... Grin...!

...it's as good as Win '98SE... Wink...!

...interestingly...for all you Broadband Enthusiasts out there...
A questionnaire from My Internet Service provider regarding my personal use of the Internet, still recommends 56K Dial-Up for me, even tho' they would love me to give them loadsamoney for a Broadband connection...
...together with a 12 month signed contract!...Shocked...!

Maybe, sometime in the future... Wink...!

Paul... Grin...!
