And some short runways!  One of them is only 1300ft, and if you overshoot you'll get wet.

See you there

I'll start getting worried when its less than 130ft, then nobody stands much of a chance landing their, except for that git in the fieseler storch and the other in the harrier Cheesy

p.s. mental note (on simv for some reason Smiley) 8.30 dont forget, 8.30

You could just do a T&G, they're all pretty short hops tonight anyway.  I did a quick flight in a King Air and I think the longest leg was 10 mins.

Of you could take an amphibian and land alongside the runway, taking as much room as you want!

I'm taking off at 8.30 to fly the route, some people find this extremely difficult to do for some reason.

.. what a flight. !!
Don´t remember seeing so many people in a session
all with the same destination Smiley
See you all next time !

I´m made some screenshots.. you can find them here

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=paywareshots;action=displa...

@wealthysoup & TSC.
There was someone using our server and did not open his ports (not from simviation). Sorry about that.
We cannot completely avoid this. This will happend from time to time when user do not open their ports. If this happens
again.. try to remember the nickname of the user you are trying to connect. You can indentify the user when the connection fails after an attempt. Flightsim gives a message
"user01 has left the session" for example. So you can see
who causes this problem.. and drop me a line !

cheers !

Actually I was referring to the strange phenomenon of everyone turning up on time, then sitting around for a while in case someone else is running late.  The result is that everyone runs late and the hop doesn't start until 15 minutes later!

It's a fair comment, I try to turn up 10 mins early for these flights so that I can get set up, engine warmed up, flight planned, radio's set - all so that we can leave on time. Ok, I don't mind waiting 5 mins for stragglers, but when we're still sat at the departure airport 15-20 mins later it becomes a bit of a joke.

I think from now on, if the flight is due to start at 8:30, then I will wait until 8:35 & no later before departing. I know that if I turned up late I would just accept I was late & play 'catch up' for a bit.

Cheers,

TSC.

??? you lost me there...If theres a website that shows the stats like wspilots then could we not just look at the last person to join and that should be the person that doesnt have open ports. i didnt get a message user 01 has left the session, I got a "all users can not connect" message Angry

Thats cool James - pre-planned lateness is excuseable, you even posted that you were gonna be late so that people wouldn't wait around for you - now't wrong with that.

Cheers,
