Sad Here I am pacing the floor like an expectant father, waiting for those cold, analytical critiques of the beta download, and this is what I get?  Undecided

*Beta-testers for Red Star should be getting a couple of modified files to plug in very shortly.

Roger! I've finally beaten the day bombers into submission and am starting on troop support missions.
I've bailed out 3 times now been wounded a couple of times and have enough gongs on my left breast that I walk heavily to port Grin

Hi,
Would it be any good me developing my F86, Meteor, P-80, F9F and Mig-15's as AI planes for your Red Star campaign?  Might help with the frame rates.

Thanks

We Russians make good reliable parachutes, and we dearly love our medals....big, heavy medals.   Grin

Isn't it interesting that in the campaign you get loads of medals for shooting down lots of enemy aircraft, and you get promotions for being a good flight leader, getting kills for your wingies and bringing them all home?  8)

Framerates are always a big concern of mine(and everyone else's)...this is particularly true in a couple of Red Star missions where you can get a bunch of aircraft in a frame at once, or you get to close to the surface action in the carrier attack mission.  ARE YOU HAVING FRAMERATE ISSUES?  Embarrassed

The P-80 and F-84 AIs are pretty barebones already(though yours may be better), but the others are player grade, or at least older player grade aircraft.  So, yes, we'd appreciate any contributions to help framerate issues and variety of aircraft available for missions.....variety being the spice of campaigns.  Grin

No FPS problems yet (and I've got an elder PIII and 512mb RAM). Not at the carrier mission... yet Grin

I'm feeling better already!  Cheesy   The only real problems in the carrier mission come when you get down in the FLAK with the attacking flights.   Lips Sealed

I know how that feels pal! I'm having lots of fun but it is taking some getting used to flying jets against props. I usually do it the other way around. I know how 262 pilots felt now up against Tempests and Mustangs. Great campaign, cheers chaps! Grin

As a result of the beta-tests so far, we have done a MDL file update on the MiG and the B-26B AI to prevent them from throwing 'ghost' images when hit in certain ways, updated the Country.CFG for a typo that prevented the Blood wound award from displaying and modified a couple of missions for typos in the Briefing.   Undecided
