create a flight and make it default by checking the "make this flight default" box

Deleting your default flight should not cause the program to crash but if you think it has -

1. If you haven't changed the MS default flight extract the flights from CD into your flights folder.

2. If you have changed the MS default flight open FS2002.cfg with notepad and scroll down to SITUATION.  This is your default flight.  Modify it to make it a flight that exists.

3. If all else fails backup and delete FS2002.cfg.  It will be re-created with default values when you start the sim.

I tried what you recommended but unfortunately it still isnt working. What exactly should I do with the fs2002.cfg in the SITUATION part? I tried replacing it with some of my saved flights but still got the same error. I then deleted the file and it still wasnt working. can u upload your default flight so i can use it to replace it?

Thanks

Just use any flight that is available, for example:

SITUATION=FLIGHTS\EUROPE\EUROPE01
