I think if you copy the file from the CD and convert it to a WAV file...there's a program that does so out there somewhere, I think my brother knows.... I'll ask him, if not, well, that's all I know

What kind of formats can windows movie maker import?
If it's wav, mp3, or wma formats, it's easy to simply 'rip' the cd tracks into those formats.
I use a free program 'CD Extractor' to copy CDs, and/or convert between MP3 and Wav formats

Can't you just select any type of music format from your "My Music" folder and place it in the Audio track of music maker?

If you have Windows Media Player, you can put your CD in the computer and open the Media Player, and at the top, there should be a tab to choose rip, and then that takes the tracks from the CD and makes them playable by Media Player, if that's what you were looking for. It rips the songs to the "My Music" folder, and from there, you should be able to use them in a movie.

Well, tried that, didn't work, hence the question.
I used that CD extractor program Esselbach mentioned. Works like a charm!
Thanks all!
