hi guys, im looking for pictures of the interior of a Smith Miniplane Homebuilt. i already tried google a.net and 1000planepictures.com any help is appreciated...

You might want to look at your "Cowl" before you go to much further.

I know it's picture of a Pitts.....But the "Smith minplane" is related to the Pitts!

Think of it as a sheet of aluminum bent a little to go around the engine.

hi jeff,

its roughly 2am and i came back home not too long ago from an ealry st patty's day celebration (ironic thing is, im not irish...free beer to haha) this is what i managed to do... i used the cross sectionof a pitt's cowling and shaped my tube accordingly, then i re-shaed the tube so it would match the miniplane's cowling using the pitts template...sorry if i dont make much sense its just that this cowling business is really bothering me haha

here are some pix of what it looks like now... i will work on it some more tomorow if time allows
