I've been working on my settings, but I still occasionally get things going wrong.  Occasionally I'll CTD and I even got a full system crash once! Shocked  Its all down to a new card I installed awhile back.  It just doesn't want to integrate itself into my system very well.

And there are also a few aircraft that have transparent parts when I run FS.

Any thoughts?  If you need more info, I can provide.

System:

Dell Dimension DIM2400 Intel
Pentium 4 CPU 2.66GHz
1.00 GB RAM

NVidia GeForce 6200 128Mb

Windows XP Service Pack 2
Direct X 9.0 (or better)

Get the latest nVidia drivers for your card, then clean out any spyware and viruses you may have. I just have the feeling you installed your card wrong. Defraging cant hurt ithor.

Cheers

you have a decent pc, and i'm no expert, but i would run the game will global texture size at massive, and at least use a 32bit colour resolution.  If you don't see aircraft parts, try lowering the aircraft quality if the drivers don't fix that.  One way that usually doesn't go wrong is a reinstall though Grin

All the above suggestions are good.

Here's another. Try different drivers for that card. Newest drivers are NOT ALWAYS THE BEST!

You may also want to consider trying the OMEGA drivers. Very good....slightly tweaked drivers for Nvidia and ATI cards.

Good luck!
