Nice selection of shots there Eno.

I must say I agree with Steven on this one. I'd rather see the Sea Vixen in Red Bull colours than not flying at all.

I've downloaded the buccaneer and put it in my Sky Pirates Bucc (which I have had for ages) but none of the textures come up. When I try to open them in Photoshop, it cannot open the files either. Did you have this problem and if so how did you rectify it?

Try DXTBmp. http://www.mnwright.btinternet.co.uk/programs/dxtbmp.htm

I Think that Jag could be a T4 not a T2.

Would you rather see the Vixen in authentic colours sitting in a museum, or flying in the Red Bull scheme that keeps it flying, the only place an aircraft can really be enjoyed? I know what I prefer, and it ain't static!

Well of course... but I think Red Bull went a little over the top with the colourscheme. Take one of the Thunder City Lightnings for example. A small Shell logo on under the cockpit;

...

What's wrong with Red Bull just adding a logo? Or perhaps a themed tail (after all, the Sea Vixen is twin boomed!).

Looks like the AlphaSim model to me, and if so, it's a T2.

T.2, Empire Test Pilots School, 2002 (2-seater)
T.4, 6 Sqn. 2003

That would be the Empire Test Pilots School variant.

Don't get me wrong Tweek, I agree that the current scheme is somewhat over the top (still better than the Brunti Jag mind you!) and it would be nice for it to be a little less noticeable however I'd still rather see it fly in the current guise than sit in some museum in authentic scheme, I can see why people would disagree of course.

Nice shots btw Eno, i didn't praise you in my last post Wink Smiley

Yep, I totally agree. And yes, it is definitely better than Brunty's Jag! I can't see what the problem with using grey paint was!

For anyone who hasn't seen it...
