Thanks Guys!  Smiley 8)

*Also check my "Suggestions" post in the payware forum, i need some suggestions on what aircraft to use.

Also in this tour, ive decided you can use whatever GA aircraft you want, just make sure you start in a DEFAULT aircraft (Cessna 172) at first so that users will be able to see you as GA.

- Thanks again.

Well he can START off with DEFAULT, and then he can choose whatever he wants!

- Cheers.

Looking forward to the Caribbean Tour Smiley

Everyone who's joining us all:

Ive tried to plan all routes over land to avoid as much sea as we can, because i know some of you get "Bored" of flying over the sea.
But in SOME of the Tours we will be flying over the sea for a bit longer than usual. But remember its the Caribbean - LOTS of sea  Smiley

Thats the plan. Don't worry, I always start off in a default. As long as I can see a Widgeon, thats fine by me - i'll be keeping the speed pegged at a leisurely pace.

You should get it Fozz, you might like it, search for widgeon_radial.zip by Joe Binka at Avsim. I know for a fact you'll like the co-pilot!!  Shocked

Unfortunately the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of each month are not good for me, so I'll have to wait until the next leg.

It would be a shame not to have at least one water landing on a tour like this!  And there is an amphibian default plane in FS9, too.  I'd rather fly a Seabee because it has more character.  Or maybe the Martin Mars  Grin

Yeah, it really was fun, aprt from the fact my sim crashed three times to the dektop. Thankfully FS saves it exactly where one is a split second before. Makes loading so much easier and I lost only about 2 miles each time, which I made up with extra throttle. Hence one reason why I take the King Air - has the speed when needed. Wink

..interestingly...!
When I first logged on to the the Caribbean Multiplayer flight last evening I accidently connected to sams Simviation Server....85.10.244.109...port 23456
I was the only one there!, (Tweek popped in for a while), whereas logging back onto WS Pilots server, 66.147.177.124, port 23458, revealed a clash between a couple of other WS Pilot Members and ourselves during the flight...!!!
All of the WS Pilots ports were busy at the time!

...therefore...
I wonder if it might be an idea to give sam's Server a trial next time to avoid clashing with other WS Pilots Members flying at the same time...?

..just a thought, Lads...Wink..!

Paul... 8)...!

Hi,

I'm fully aware of Sams server set-up, but i want to be sure that it will work successfully for the tours (without cutting people off etc) So thats why i havent decided to make it our "Default" server yet. I'm going to leave it a few weeks to see how go's etc and see if it is fully successful, which is the reason im using the WSP servers for the meantime.

Hope this helped.

Thank you very much!

This is just an Idea, but how about i organise the same TOUR, but organise two times for the flights.
Like, keep the Normal tour at Tuesdays at 8:30PM GMT, but also add a date for the Americans, or anyone who didn't make it on tuesday.
So that way, everyone can go on the tours.

So for example, i would plan a tour for a Tuesday at 8:30PM GMT, but have the same tour for the Americans (or anyone else) on a thursday night at around 11pm GMT which would be what in US time...
Although i will only be able to make the tour on the tuesdays, it would give other people, who find it hard to make the usual Tuesday 8:30PM GMT time(s).

Let me know what you think.

I'm also thinking of buying a webhosting package, because the one i have now, has ad's on, and i feel is a bit slow.
I would also be able to create a domain for the website (.eg simalive.co.uk) what you think?
