how do you actually get the shots from the ps2 to the pc?

You need one of those USB hard drives. Put it into the ps2 before you switch it on. Then when it comes to saving the images there should be a drop down menu with the option for usb flash drive. You can also use your camera mp3 player memory card if you have a usb transfer module.
