Oh my goodness, I almost lost my breath a few hours because of what I found a few hours ago...

I found scenery for Harvey Field in Snohomish, and Firstair field in Monroe!  Why are those two important?  Because I am currently WORKING at Harvey field and is where I took my very first flight 9 years ago, and FIRSTAIR is 2 minutes from my home, and is where I earned my private pilots license!  And both are small GA airports.  (Firstair is really tiny!)

And the scenery is absolutly amazing... everything looks identical... even down to THE PEOPLE!!  I actually recognise 2 of them! haha  And I work with both of them!

It's freaking awesome... I'll take some pics at work for you guys, and then post a comparison between sim and real life.. you'll be blown away.  It's so sweet.

And then searching around the same site I found scenery for Sultan, Orcas Island, Diamond Point, Darrington Muni, and a couple other local places.

I purchased the four others I mentioned as well, and I'm utterly amazed.  It's the coolest thing I've seen.  I've been to almost every one of those places and the detail is amazing.  I particularly enjoy how the people move around up at Orcas Island along with the Orcas jumping out of the water, the smoke from the houses up in Darrington, the fuel truck (I used to drive), opening hangar doors, and traffic up at Harveys and Firstair, and the SWEET approach into the grass strip up at Sultan.  Just like the real one, you really gotta fly yourself between those trees!

So yeah, I got all that tonight.

Three days ago I purchased the Dreamfleet Cessna 177 Cardinal... and man is that ever a dream to fly!  Just like the one I'm flying in real life!  Great response, and all the power settings get me the same a/s and combined with my yoke/rudder pedals, will hopefully continue to give me an edge on flying.

Oh yeah, and don't worry, I'll be posting butt-loads of pics for you all to enjoy!  lol  Man this is FUN!  I never would have thought anyone would take the time to create these small, almost Po-dunk airports up here!  Wohoo!!
