he has a point though, yes patience is a virtue in this case, but moving gangplanks, cargo loading, pushback trucks and ground crews would be excellent. And not just for the user plane, but AI as well, why should the user just get spoiled? Grin

maby just in this one having gates at all airports and haveing them line up with the places where the jets park. Because in ms 2004 the gate paking places or what ever you call them that are on the tarmac dont or rarely line up with the gates on the buildings. thats my observation maby we should get that part right before We start moving the gates.

I'd be more interested in realistic ramp markings, and docking systems. Things like the stop and go lights pilots use to park correctly. I'd also like to see traffic signs that are around all airport for road vehicles.

I would love to have more emphasis on the ground crew...I would really enjoy sitting there at the gate while the people fuel my 'craft, load the baggage...etc etc...ah so much things... Wink

but also think at the same time we cant have indavidual settings for every air port there has to be genaric sceans and buildings gates ext for all airports because you cant realisticly model independantly each of the 20000 air ports or however many there are so if done it needs to be a set scean that can be instald at any airport like buildings or scenery in fs 04

Would that not be "FSX - Airport Simulator"?  I would personally get rather annoyed by the frame rate hit of lots of little figures running around out side the aircraft doing stuff.  I like to fly, land and take off in simulated aircraft.  Not watch simulated meals being loaded into the simulated galley.

There has to be a point where you ask whether a desire for "realism" has any value.  How many of the users would regularly watch the gate extend and the passengers embark and how many would watch it once and then decide that whilst it was cool it was a waste of time?  There would then be endless threads about how "M$ put in some cruddy graphics in the airports of flight crew but my local town is 3/4 of an inch to the north of where those stooopid programmers put it."

Yeah...but I guess he means gates that'll just come to your aircraft once you stop...there are sceneries in FS9 that actually do this...Cloud9's Amsterdam is one...I hate dialling NAV2 frequencies...annoying Grin
