Apply the methods  explained in Section 35 in Afcad Help to the parking spots and your aircraft.

There is no guarantee if traffic is heavy, but if you apply a unique (ficticious) ICAO code to your parking and ac your chances are better.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.          Igor Sikorsky

You know....you can just rip up a to-do list.

Roger that . . . and if your AFCAD Readme is on your desktop, it's just a doubleclick away:

"Parking Codes:

Parking codes are the most important factor in assigning parking. Each parking spot can be assigned one or more codes, and each separate aircraft version, or ‘paint’, can be assigned a code. These codes have no special meaning to FS, it just tries to match the aircraft codes with the parking codes to slot aircraft into specific parking.  Since the codes have no special meaning you could use any set of characters, but it is best to use ICAO codes where possible when assigning parking for airlines and other aviation groups in order to maintain consistency with other designers of flight sim add-ons.  Every airline has a unique ICAO code, such as AAL, for American Airlines."

Also, read section 37. Aircraft Editor
"The Aircraft Editor window, called from the Tools menu, allows you to adjust all the parking related parameters for aircraft you have installed."

This is the best area to assign the Parking Codes for your aircraft (it's better than trying to do it by hand by editing the aircraft.cfg files)
