hi all.  i recently purchased a 256mb radeon x800 gto graphics card.  i was wondering if anybody knew of any good optimising drivers for it.  i have overclocked my previous graphics card (geforce 6200le) and it seemed fairly easy, however i was also wondering if you(s) have any advice about o/c'ing, for example dos' and don'ts'.  many thanks in advance,

ATI Tool is the best overclocker. As far as drivers, Cat 6.2

Clock speeds....... try core 435Mhz and memory of 525Mhz

Cheers

I find the Radeon X series of cards good enough that I wouldn't think of overclocking them.  I can't overclock my X850, because my power supply is only 220W, and it needs a minimum of 350W Sad

CAT 6.2 has ATI documented issuse with flight simulator

...also has reported issues with crash and 'out of memory" error when 24bit bitmaps are loaded.

I recommend staying with the CAT 6.1's for now

ATI TOOL v.24 is what I use for overclocking
