Ok i know nothing about panel design. In this case i dont think i need to though.

Can i take a panel file from one aircraft and put it in the file of another aircraft and it would work?

I would like to put a panel in a aircraft that does not have any panel at all.

Im not talking VC, just a panel.Would that work as well if it didnt have one?

if you dont understand i will try to explain more in detail.

thanks

You can take ANY panel folder and drop it into another aircraft folder and have it work, as long as the aircraft is of the same type, ie: single prop, dual prop, triple prop, four prop, single jet, twin jet, triple jet, quad jet.  If the engines are different, the panel won't work.

Some aircraft MAY requre different types of panels.  If you are at a loss, I would suggest searching on several different sites for the type of aircraft panel you are looking for.

Affirmative It's referred to as 'aliasing'
create a new folder named panel.2
create a new Notebook file (Save As All files -- NOT *.*) panel.2.cfg
include in this panel.2.cfg:

[fltsim]
// alias=lear45\panel
// alias=F-15E\panel
alias=Anyaircraftfolder\panel.x

OR . . . Just copy and paste an existing aliased panel.cfg and rem ( // ) the unwanted lines-of-code

The "alias=Anyaircraftfolder\panel.
x
"X
represents any number of aliased panels for this aircraft one wants to include.
