I know it is a very advanced game, so if the demo works on medium realism should the game itself work? My computer has a Ge Force FX5500 video card.

Help is great!

I'm pretty sure the game works better than the demo, especially when it's patched and updated to 1.12a, but that requires buying the Flaming Cliffs add-on (which I highly recommend), but it stills works fine when patched to 1.02. Wink

I very recently had an FX5200.  LOMAC (non-flaming cliffs) worked fine with the graphics turned to medium.  It should work on your system.

Ahh LOMAC, what a wonderful game. However the controol interface is a bit buggy, and I still can't land to save my life.

Cheers

LOMAC was the main reason for upgrading my system, which, BTW, could handle most sims pretty well at the time.
With a pair if 6600GT based cards and 4G of ram it runs just fine at 1280x1024 locked at 40fps ....!
You can run on a lower spec system if you cut back on resolution and lock your frames at 20 - 25fps.
