It was mentioned before that we could have themed shows next time, like WWII aircraft, classic jets, aerobatic aircraft, etc, etc.

I suppose, but it's really up to everyone what they would like. We'll have to make a poll on it.

Polls - To keep people from complaining about decisions! If it's a majority vote, no one can complain Grin

...how about a show for aerobatic Microlight/Ultralight/Flexwing pilots...!
Now that would be really cool... Grin... Grin... Grin...!
LOL...!

Paul...Unbelievely low and slow Microlight Pillock... 8)...!
LOL...!

Low and slow would get my vote!  Microlights and old biplanes, anything that routinely flies below 50KIAS.  I mean, I enjoy buzzing the crowd with Concorde at mach 2 just as much as the next guy, but the spectators don't get to see an awful lot.  Just a spot in the sky, something flashes past for 2 seconds, then it's a spot in the sky again.

At least with the old "wood, wire and fabric" planes (or their modern "carbon, aluminium and ripstop nylon" counterparts) we could actually see them flying around.

FS9 still has some serious limitations for things like airshows, hopefully FSX will be better.

That's why I used a Tucano for my solo display. It's hard to keep up with fast jets with F1View! .... though it depends how fast they're going and how close they are...
