Just got booked on Air New Zealand's LHR-LAX service this summer. Can't wait for the flight, new entertainment system and everything. Has anyone every flown this route and if so what were you thoughts with the experience.

Sounds like what I'll be doing in June. KPHL-EDDF-EDDW, 6 days later and I'll be on the ICE from Bremen to Berlin, then 4 more days and its EDDB-KPHL again. First time in anything bigger than a Cub too.

Yeah, about 20 miles east of it, in Cherry Hill. I'm usually under or within 2 miles of the pattern for KPHL. By the way, watch out for a little Saturn with a big sign that says "Echelon Driving School" on it, I wouldn't want to hit anybody today. Wink

Another thing I wondered. Does anyone know the routing this flight will take, either on the LHR-LAX or LAX-LHR. Flight Aware is showing LAX-LHR going right across the US and out over Newfoundland, I would have thought a Polar routing would be slightly more appropriate. But then again I do just want good scenery Grin

No, were not going US Air. Since the trip is with a german class, we are going via Deutsche Lufthansa.

And you're safe until next Thursday. But after that there wont be any big "Student Driver" signs to warn you about me! Grin
