Can anyone here answer me (without using google or other searchmachine.. Wink) answer me, why norwegian runways has yellow paint, instead of normal white?

It could be because of snow, or because of the angle of the sun. If the sun hits the roads (over here at least) at a very shallow angle, the white paint becomes almost impossible to see and the yellow paint looks like it is white. Because of Norway's high latitude it could be for this reason.

Easier to see when there is snow on the ruwnay

I'd imagine because of snow, but then again, would yellow be somewhat difficult to see when covered (lightly or not) by snow?

Could be something to do with......ummm......
