Sad

I suppose I'm going to HAVE to pursuade my dad to take me up to Coningsby then, when the Jags relocate. Would love to see them, at least once more, in action.

Wonder what I'm doing on 1st April Tongue

"All the remaining planes at the base will relocate to RAF Coningsby in Lincolnshire on the day, taking off from RAF Coltishall, performing flypasts and then leaving Norfolk for the last time."

Imagine that... every Cat departing on the same day... 1st April turns out to be a Saturday too... I really am gonna have to go!

Just thought, Coningsby might be an option aswell... if they are departing on the 1st, I'm sure that's when they'll arrive, too!

I may be able to now. Asked my dad about going on the day of their departure, and he didn't object. It's either Coltishall to see them depart, or Coningsby to see them arrive.

Just hope I can! Roll Eyes

I'd go for the departures for certain. After all there will still be chances to see them at Coningsby but this will be the last ever chance to see Jaguars flying out of Coltishall and they will also be doing some passes it seems as well.

Maybe I could get some persuading in then, to make a slightly longer journey Wink. 3 hours 24 minutes to get to RAF Coltishall, according to the AA route planner!

Yeah, Coltishall is a little far away for me, too. It's just that there's not gonna be some definite action at Coningsby... I don't know. I'll have to find out!
