Would any one be willing to update "Massimo Altieri X-15 for FS2004"

http://www.simviation.com/members/fs2002military39.htm

It works in FS2004 but does not have all of the FS2004 features eg, Clickable VC, See Cockpit open in VC View,
Lighting in Cockpit, ect

If anyone is intrested please let me know  Smiley

Thanks

Are you the otiginal builder of the model?

If not, the only one who can update it with those features is the original builder, with the source file.

It's really not possible to "add" a VC, etc. to a compiled model.

Well, you can't make it have a clickable VC or anything that has to do with the model itself.  The lighting in the VC is fixable, and is a fairly simple procedure.  Just a matter of adding a new entry to the aircraft.cfg in the right spot.

If you want to add some VC lighting, go check in some of the default aircraft.cfg files and find the section [LIGHTS].  In there is an entry for the VC lighting effect.  Just copy that filename into the appropriate section of the X-15 aircraft.cfg and adjust the location (the three numbers next to it).  Good luck!
