Want some under-the-hood advice?
Keep the brown half of the attitude indicator below the blue half. Do that, and you can't go wrong. Unless you do. Then it can get bad.

yea i agree with you rotty, i've noticed on all of my flight tags that there is atleast an extra 10-15 mins extra to the cost just because a towered airport is so busy...wish aviation was cheaper 8)

Yep, it's a drag. You have to look for bargains wherever and whenever you can: since I got my ticket, I've avoided landing fees and control towers as much as possible, and have gone for the cheaper rentals- usually they're fine mechanically, just have poor aesthetics and less bells and whistles. But they get the job done.
Been thinking about joining another flying club, too-it's usually a better deal in the long run, despite initiation fee and dues.
