Well I've just got Top Secret on DVD (my video has nearly worn out!) and I still think it is without a doubt one of the funniest movies ever made! Anyone agree/disagree?
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

I have to say Austin Powers are good. I always enjoy them for a bit of relaxation and a good giggle. Of course it helps if you are a Bond fanatic to get all the jokes

The Austin Powers series I believe is the only comedy series ever where each and every movie was as good as the last. (feel free to disagree, I'd love to know)
I have to go with Airplane. SOOOOO many all time classic one-liners in that movie.

Only if you're from ages 14-25. Otherwise its terrible.

Dunno but this is certainly one of the funniest bits
From Four weddings and a Funeral.
"In the Name of the father the lord and the holy goat"
Actually I think the funniest one i've seen is a movie in which both my sisters played. It was only a tiny production and I think the first or second movie of the director. It wasn't even ment to be funny but it certainly was.! I remember many instances in which I allmost peed my pants. We were watching the shot version which took a mere four hours.... I hope we'll get that one on dvd one of these days

Dunno..
Hugh grant isn't my favorite funny man though... looks to serious for that... I just remember that phrase.. Wanted to put it in my sig but i thought it might offend some..
Another funny movie I think is Freddy got Fingered with Tom Green..
" You must become the character"
+ the Scream and I know what you did last summer + sequels... Or does that sound weird?

I'd go with
Monty Pythons The Life Of Brian
Hilarious film, not a failed joke in it for me and makes some very poignant observations about organsied relgion.
Crucifixion? Err no freedom actually...yeah they said I hadn't done anything wrong, so I could go and live on an island somewhere, oh well off you go then, nah, I'm pulling your leg it's crucifixion really!

I do like bottom- but the extreme slapstick of the young ones is compulsive
BTW Ozzy- where oh where can you get Dvd's of the Young Ones? ive looked absolutely everywhere, because my videos(like they do
) are starting to erm... decay- so to speak. Pictures not great, make annoying high pitched squeaks etc
cheers

I think the Pink Panther series is a very hot contender to the slapstick prize. How on earth they had the nerve to remake it I dread to think.
