Nice Ashar and F3, I need help deciding on mine though:
The first looks alot like Ashar's in that it's black also, but a little different...
Or another one I found in the default Lear 45 folder, courtesy of Microsoft, and a little tweaking by me....
I'm not too good at repaints, but I can't decide which to use.

I really like the pattern on the first one! Hope you don't mind me stealing your idea of putting my name on the engines (as well as under the cockpit on mine
). I should spruce mine up a little!

I don't mind at all Tweek, but it's not painted on, it's just the Tail Number, or the number changed in the aircraft.cfg file, but I don't really know what the one in the .cfg file does, so I just did it in the sim.
And Cspyro, thanks, but I can't take credit, it's the file Lear45_D in the default lear texture folders, I just added the 117, and my name, I might change some numbers and add some lines, but I don't know if I will be able to do it so well.

Putting your name on the engines looks neat, until you go around the other side and realise both engines use the same texture.
The fin has separate left and right textures, so you can put text on there without it getting reversed. Pretty much everything else on the Lear is mirrored.

Just to let everyone know, my paint scheme will always be White, Yellow, and Blue with the 314th Airlift Wing patch on the tail and/or wings.
Update:
The name needs work, but other than that, it looks real nice even with the slightly-shifted textures.

Damn, you guys are good - looks like I'm gonna have to spend sometime reading Gryshnaks painting tutorial - still not sure whether I will be definately available for the next race - but at the moment things are looking up - for the race anyway.
Cheers,
TSC.

I just saw all these paints.....amazing stuff! Looks like you're having as much fun (or more) doing the paints as you do racing! Race should be in 2 1/2 weeks or so. Keep and eye out in freeware over the next couple of days for the upcoming Wargames. Cspyro and I are cooking up something I think everybody will have a blast participating in.
