Turn FFB off and unplug the power connector if it has one. I hope it stills works without the FFB. If you do find a joystick you prefer, please let me know.

Capt
the MS FFBB1 stick has an infra red led detector in the handle, this is to enable the force effect only when you grip the stick. I had a problem with my ms ffb1 stick in that everything worked except the force feedback. I opened the stick and found a broken wire which was of course the wire from the detector. I fixed the wire and fixed the stick. No problems since.
cheers

Uuum, Capt. Farhan, are you trying to tell us that you actually use the MS FFB joystick and that it broke due to a hard landing ........ in severe weather..... WOW!

I know they are good joysticks mate, but geez,  I don't think a Saitek or anything else is going to stand up to that sort of punishment!
