Arab Airlines over Israel? (Read 149 times)

Hi Guys.

A post on airliners.net just made me think about this. What is emirates policy about overflying Israels and other Jewish countries? Do they avoid overflying the airspace all together? And what is the policy on forced landings?

Any help appreciated.

Emergency landings are always allowed, probably will get fighter escort and special parking space.

AFAIK Royal Jordanian and Egyptair are the only ones allowed overflight, the rest goes over Lebanon or Egypt.

Russian planes: IL-76 (all standard length ones),  Tu-154 and Il-62, Tu-134 and An-24RV&&&&AI flightplans and repaints can be found here

What about El Al on its flights that go to somewhere like ICN or NRT? Surely thats a bit tricky without flying over Arab countries. Do EK or LY operate flights to each others hubs. i.e. Ek fly to TLV or LY to DXB? I doubt it

Where's the challenge in landing with wheels?
