A Slovak military plane carrying peacekeepers from the Nato-led mission in Kosovo, crashed in Hungary yesterday, killing at least 16 of the more than 40 people on board, Hungarian and Slovak authorities said.
Only one survivor and 16 bodies have been found so far at the forested crash site, 700 metres up a mountain, 12 miles from the Kosice base in Slovakia which the aircraft had been heading for, the Hungarian state news agency MTI said.
Hungarian officials said conditions for the rescue operation were very difficult and helicopters could not land.
There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!

In the 80's even a big AEGIS computer could't tell the difference between an A310 and a F-14...
