Yup, just saw it on the news.

Jet Airways has bought 100% stake of Air Sahara. The deal is worth $500 m (Rs. 2200 cr) and the funding is totally by own sources. Now Jet has a market share of 47%.

Well, so no more spotting of those Air Sahara birds  Embarrassed. Gonna miss that livery too  Cry

P.S - I better hurry and take some snaps of Air Sahara before they are turned into Jet Airways......... Lips Sealed

Actually it didn't...I left the day before this purcahse was made...and that's pretty darn old news....I came back on the 8th of Jan and the deal was signed on the 9th...and the day I arrived in India...I saw an Air Sahara 737-400 take off...really dirty little monster....and honestly....Jet Airways is by far India's best regional and international airline.... Wink

PS: I was flying with Qatar Airways Wink
