what is Vista?  I haven't heard of this

From what I have heard, if you are running Windows XP Professional, it will be upgradable to Vista therefore costing half the price!!

man that would suck... unless do we have an XP 64 bit? then it would be all cool. otherwise if you get 32 bit vista... dont get those full "features."

not a bad idea though... mabye i should switch, i have an XP pro CD lying around here somewhere.

When you say "stuff"? If you mean programs and drivers, then I think Vista has a WOW64 (Windows on Windows) system that simultates a 32-bit environment inside a 64-bit environment.
