I'll try putting a stupid storyline in here...but if you don't like it...just ignore it and see the shots....:
So there I was, sitting in Dubai...comfortable in my bed...when the phone rings...at 8 in the morning. It turns out to be the manager of Kuwait Airways in the UAE. I listened to his story. He started to talk about some faulty A-300 that was standing at the gate at the airport. Being at the Airport Hotel...I looked out my window...and there, I could prominently see a Kuwaiti tail. 2 hours later, I was on the apron...with the giant monster in sight. I decided to do an external preflight check...
Nose gear seems fine...
Now back to the main gear....which also seems fine...
Well, then after the check, I decided to board the plane. Seemed alright...cockpit was Cold and Dark...had to get the APU working...which was also fine. I then saw my test crew approaching the aircraft via the Air-bridge...later...after the flight, one of the crew members showed me a pic he snapped while on the bridge...
Well, after a quick startup, we were given clearance to taxi and eventually take-off...since this aircraft was fitted with external camera's, it took a pic as we rotated...
Did a couple of circuits over the ocean, over the land and after thorough testing, everything seemed to be alright. Decided to take her back home....(Note my FPS: With 100% traffic and Fly-Tampa Dubai...Sim maxed out)
Having done the test flight...I was given permission to go back to my hotel and rest. Just before I left, a member of the ground crew handed me this pic...the former terminal in the background:
Well that's it....hoped you liked my (crap) story...or at least my shots....Ciao folks,
Ashar 8)
