I love flying low-and-slow in the Fieseler Storch, the Tiger Moth, the An-2, other light planes and biplanes that have been successfully converted to CFS2.

How can I make them shoot (forward) when they have no forward pointing guns?

I guess a hard option is to add a gun pack, but can you tweak the .cfg file to add a pair of 30 cal  mgs?

You will need to create a DP file. The easiest method is to copy one from a similar type of aircraft & paste it into the folder of the one you wish to create it for. Rename the file with the AIR file prefix of that aircraft. Then download DPED from CFS2 Utilities & modify it to suit the new aircraft. A new CDP file will be created when you select the aircraft in CFS2. Remember to delete the CDP file every time you edit a DP.

Aircraft without their own DP file should use the generic default DP. Check the CFS2\Aircraft folder to make sure you didn't delete a file named default.dp by mistake. If it's missing it should be possible to retrieve this file from the CD.

I had a Tigermoth with a forward firing gun once. That thing ruled in multiplayer as it was so slow and so manuverable.  Grin
