Thanks! Cheesy

Sorry about being in the Bell 206. I know you guys wanted people in the default cessna. I was just hovering around and patrolling the area, trying to stay out of your area.  Tongue

That's why I stopped in. I run the WSP servers fellas, and you're always welcome to have your shows at WSPilots. I was just making sure people were giving you the respect of staying off the runways. (i had my steel-toed boots on for booting LOL)

Oh!  Well that's different then - thanks for that!

By starting at 5pm (or a bit later), many people had to leave halfway through the show to go eat.  Starting earlier or later to avoid meal times would be better.

Well i Didnt Get to attend the Airshow (seeing that i didnt have FS9) Cry
but i see one problem in this suggestion below

Quote:
2. Server. Seems to be alot of confusion about where/when/HOW, etc. May I suggest useing the MSN Game Zone? The games there can be launched by just a click of a mouse, no ip numbers or port noncence and we can lock 'our' game with a password so that only SimV peeps come in. The WSPilots server is a public server after all.

The MSN server Can only go 16 people at a tme so you would need multiple servers and find some way to merge them all together
wich, to my knowledge, is impossible from the user level
well i would kep on using WSPilot

I had a great time at the show, enjoyed watching all those great displays (all better pilots than me Wink) but there was a lot of sitting around. I know that there were a lot of displays to see but some folk flew two or more times so maybe everyone could do a couple of displays just to get in on the action a bit more? I had no server issues at all and no real frame rate hits, but then I have a fast broard band connection and fairly high end machine so I would not have expected any to be honest. I think bi-monthly would be great for the shows, give folks time to practice new displays and download new aircraft and if it's too often folk will just get fed up with it. Theme shows are a good idea too but remember some folk don't like certain types of aircraft (I don't like modern or large types for example) so some flexibility is needed. Most real shows, even themed shows, have a mix of types of all ages so I think we can work with that. Very well organised chaps, even when someone was missing the gaps were filled in very well and very quickly, just like a real show. I think it needs to start on time and folks who are late can drop in when they can, again just like a real show. Hope to do this again chaps, see you on the ramp next time. Grin

Quite right...Wink...!

As in a real show, you either make time to watch/enter it all, or just pop in and out when available... Wink...!
That's the way it works...
The start date and time is a FIXTURE... 8)...!

Cheers all...!

I would love to be able to join in with the U.S Tour flights organised by Jared....
...but I live in England and Jared and his crew live in the U.S, and therefore there is a time difference, resulting in me being tucked up in bed when the flights occur, so I accept that I can't join in unless I make a special effort.
I wouldn't dream of suggesting that Jared changes his flight schedule just to suit me... Wink...!

Cheers all...!

may I suggest using the TeamSpeak server next time (If everyones bandwidth will allow it)? That way we could talk to each other, and let the airport controller decide whos turn it is to fly. It would also help keep oganazation problems down to a minimum....

Just a thought.  Grin

regarding teamspeak, I don't have any problem with this as long as it is not a must, and people who don't use it are not apart of the event.
What I mean is that i'm not confortable with spoken english, and my accent is just so bad that usually nobody understand me, or I can't understand people with particular accent (north UK...)...
down here, everybody's first language is not english, and it has to be accounted for.
