Turn up the graphics settings in CFS3 config.

Go to Start-Programs-Microsoft Games-CFS3- Run CFS3 Config and have a play in there.

Anything that looks as if it might related to terrain or textures. Can't be any more specific I'm afraid. This problem is a little more complicated than your last one. Tongue

To post pictures you have to first upload them to the site. There is a link at the top of the page. Once it's uploaded simply copy and paste the link http://www.simviation.com/yabbuploads/yourpic.jpg and replace the yourpic part with the file name.

Ok. The only think I can suggest is that you continue to play with the terrain texture in CFS3 config. If that fails to get any results then I'm afraid I'm all out of ideas.

Either it's this :

http://www.simviation.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=cfs3;action=display;num=11...

Or more likely the drivers of your vid card needs to be changed / updated. Some people reported having similar issues with some Nvidia drivers. I bet you have a nvidia, haven't you ?

His Graphics card is an Intel Extreme 64mb. Upgrading, if you can afford it, to either an nVidia or Raedeon could only do you system good.

First the system :
specs :
- PIVc 2.6Ghz @ 3.1 Ghz
- 1024 Mo ram
- Radeon 9800 pro with cat3.9 (very important, the only ATI drivers to give these nice specular reflexions on the planes)
- playing at 1280x1024 with AAx2 and FSAAx4.

Then the settings :
http://www.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/boards/bbs/ultimatebb.php?ubb=get_topic;f=148;t...

Finally, the add-ons :
- Winding Man's scenery manager
- Avhistory Spit IX by Zuyax

Last thing : I've always found the colours too contrasted in cfs3 so I created a setting in my vid card driver panel. In ATI cards (this is not the CCC), there's a tab called colour : I increased the gamma to give a more bleached look, decreased the lighting and finally adjusted the contrast to my liking. This setting is used every time a 3d application is launched.
