I wish real life didn't have congestion.  Certainly could do without circling outside of Heathrow for an hour.  But it happens.. and happens everywhere.  But in FS world you always get to land right away.  Wonder if FSX will feature these real world headaches and have us (and other traffic) circling for hours.

Far better to have ATC control a proper holding pattern with AI calling progressive lower levels. Heathrow lands a 'plane every 60 mins couldn't do that without a holding pattern.

some of the most heavily conjested airports (i.e) Heathrow , KLAX, O'hare etc. might have have you hold in pattern then you would recieve clearence to land. But otherwise most airports have good ATC, but If your AI going crazy limit it or delete cuz FS AI aint that well controlled. lol Wink GrinBut FSX should have better ATC etc. Wink

A plane every 60 MINS??? No wonder it's such a pain flying into Heathrow!  Tongue

I think I'd be breaking some rules too!  But it would be pretty strange to see AI falling outta the sky because they run out of fuel.

Pfft... that's nothing (assuming you didn't mean 60 seconds); when KEWR is really busy, they bring 'em in on average every two minutes or less. Parallel runways, of course, but they're departing at about the same rate. Sometimes the controllers sound like those guys who read the discaimers at the end of a radio advertisement... Grin

Dammit, I meant 60 secs, but it takes 60 mins if you need to go around. Shocked
