A new picture from airliners.net, taken by a wandering photographer (I presume) at the back of the Scaled Composites hangar.
For those unfamiliar, Scaled Composites launched the first civilian manned craft into space and thereby won the x-prize.
This helicopter is unknown, on airliners.net it was described as such.

...

What are they they planning to do with this helicopter? First helicopter to space?  Grin Wink
Looks awesome though.

Doesn't look like that door fits too well. Tongue

I don't know, I would agree with Charlie, although Scaled Composites have built a prototype CAS aircraft for the airforce, but it never went anywhere, so it could be some prototype, don't know why they would use something so ugly in a movie. Tongue Wink

Why would Scaled have a C150 sitting on the other side of their hanger? My guess is that it's a movie prop sitting at an airport nowhere near Mojave.

Me thinks that thing dont fly.  Definately a movie prop.  Also, scaled would make it smoother and curvier.
