Looks like a wasp with just the boom done! Grin (and if the front was painted black...)

Nice repaint though, just can't help the Army's half hearted painting attempt! Grin Nice to see the RAF going the whole way with the Puma... Wink

Very cool like the paint scheme, I've always had this quesiont. Why do the Royal Aifroce/European Airforce paint their aircraft as sometimes including the tiger paint......?  Wink Grin

Its for something they call the "Tigermeet" - generally a largish exercise along with a photocall with specially painted aircraft to commemorate the occasion. I think it started originally with sqns that had connections with tigers, hence the name and colours. The UK's tiger sqns are now exclusively helicopter sqns following the disbandment of 74 (F) Sqn a few years ago...

And Belgium paint some pretty cool ones. Actually all countries do, I have a great picture of a German Tornado in tiger colours, taken at Kleine Brogel Spottersday.

Say Charlie, you wouldnt happen to have been at a Tigermeet yet?  Smiley

The Royal Navy also had a tiger marked Merlin HM1 last year Smiley
